Supporting YOU on Your Frontline
As a community, we, at St. Margaret’s Church, would like to support you by praying for you on your frontline. Would you like us to pray for you at our weekday Midday Prayers?
Maybe for a challenging meeting at work, a hospital appointment or any other situation that you are concerned about? If so, please email us via the Midday Prayer line at the following address:
This will be checked daily and all requests received by 10am will be prayed for that day, and throughout the week.
If you would like further contact with someone, please ring 01895 812193 or pop into church between 10am and 2pm. There will always be someone pleased to pray with you.

Celebration Concert: A Night at the Proms

As part of the 150 years celebration at St Andrew’s there will be a concert given by the Royal Air Forces Association’s President’s Band
Admission charge £5.
St. Andrew’s 150th Anniversary Celebrations

Bishop Martyn Jarrett will be presiding at the 10am Eucharist – All Welcome!
Following that there will be a “hot fork buffet” at St. Andrew’s School. Members of St. Margaret’s are invited, but numbers are limited.

Christian Aid Week 2015
10th May – 16th May
Help needed for the street collection and on 16th May for the town centre “shake a can.”
Please contact Jo Hyland 01895 814171 or Christine Nickolls. or Please give a donation. Put your money in a Christian Aid envelope and hand it in to the office or put in on the collection plate. If you are a tax payer and wish to please fill in the section on the envelope so that we can reclaim tax. Envelopes will be available from May 3rd for a couple of weeks.

Evening of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
On 17th May INSTEAD of the 7PM service
…there will be an evening of prayer for the persecuted church. It will begin with a time of worship and then time to pray for those who are persecuted around the world because of their faith in Christ. In order to connect in a small way with the underground church, the service WILL NOT be at St. Margaret’s church, but at a secret location, similar to what the persecuted church would use. you can find out the location by doing one of the following:

- Putting your name and E-mail on the sign up sheet.

Andrew will be running an adult confirmation group on Thursday evening. Any adults thinking about being confirmed please speak to Andrew or put your name on the sign up sheet in the foyer. In Confirmation, we confirm the vows made at our Baptism (often made by our parents and Godparents) and declare our desire to follow Jesus
