Marking the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WW1

Monday 4th August
This anniversary is being marked by a national ‘lights out’ campaign (for more information see www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/firstworld-war-centenary)

In St Margaret’s (10am-2pm) the names of those who died from Uxbridge will be displayed on the memorial doors to the chapel together with as much information on these men as possible. If you have any information regarding these men or their families, please do contact

Calling ALL 14-18’s (Year 9+): Soul Survivor

12th-17th August

We are going on a trip to Soul Survivor from 12th-17th AUGUST.

This eventswill be a great time of outdoor and indoor activities, time with friends and Jesus.

Picnic and Game of Boules

24th August: 12.30pm onwards: alongside the Hillingdon Athletics Track and Sports Centre (Gatting Way)

Join us for a picnic lunch and a game of boules (petanque) from 12.30pm onwards

Location alongside the Hillingdon Athletics Track and Sports Centre (Gatting Way)

Sign the sheet if you would like to play boules to give a rough idea of number.


Thanksgiving service for Bishop Donald Arden (R.I.P)

Saturday 20th September, 2.30pm The Abbey, Romsey, Hampshire

Bishop Donald former Vicar of St. Margaret’s (1981-1986) died peacefully last week aged 98 years.There will be a Thanksgiving service for him on Saturday 20th September, 2.30pm at The Abbey, Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 8EP


Children and Communion Course

Starting Monday 6th October 4-6PM

In the autumn term, we are planning to run another course for children who would like to be admitted to communion. This will be held in St Margaret’s on Monday afternoons 4-5pm, starting Monday 6th October for children in school years 3–6.
