As a parish we take our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults seriously. Please click here for more information about safeguarding and our representatives contact details should you have any concerns.

Each year the two churches in the Uxbridge Parish (St Margaret’s and St Andrew’s) give the money raised through collections at our Christmas services to other charities working with those in need.  In this respect 2020 is no different, despite the strangeness of the world during the Coronavirus pandemic.  However, what is different this year is that we are only able to hold a reduced number of services at which to collect this money, although the need is as great as ever. Our chosen charities this year are :

  • My Black Dog – which provides online support to those suffering from mental health problems and depression.
  • Bell Farm Christian Centre in West Drayton – which, on top of its usual support for those in need in the local community, is currently also working with a large group of asylum seekers who have been housed temporarily in hotels at Heathrow.

We therefore invite you to consider supporting this initiative by giving in one of these ways :

By Text Send DON84XMAS followed by the amount to 70085 (eg DON84XMAS 10 will give £10)

Sunday 20th December: Unfortunately for reasons out of our control there will be no Carol service this evening. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Welcome

Welcome to St. Margaret’s, Uxbridge. Thank you for visiting our website. We seek to be a loving and welcoming community who are rooted in Jesus and the life and hope that He can bring and who serve the people of Uxbridge in His name.  In the midst of these extraordinary times and the new lockdown the decision has been taken to close the church building until further notice. This means that the church will be live-streaming services on Sunday morning at 10am and Sunday evening at 6pm. To access these services please click here. Let us all pray that these lockdown measures are effective. We have also had to suspend a number of community activities for the time being. But far ‘from shutting up shop’, we are seeking to help people to connect with God, to love and support one another and to serve our community in different ways, as we seek to find our way through these challenging and demanding days. We hope that our website will be helpful but please do contact us if you would like to know more. With very best wishes.
